Privacy Policy

How TheJewelryChoice collects, uses and protects your personal data.

Last updated · August 2026

What we collect

  • Account details — name, email, phone number.
  • Order details — shipping address, order history.
  • Payment data — handled entirely by our payment gateway. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Usage data — pages visited and device type, via analytics cookies.

How we use it

To process and deliver orders, provide support, send order updates, and — only with your consent — send marketing emails. We do not sell your personal data to anyone.

Who processes it, and where

Named rather than described, because “our service providers” tells you nothing you could act on. Each of these holds some of your data in order to do a specific job:

  • Razorpay (India) — payments. They receive your card or UPI details directly; those never reach our servers.
  • Neon (Singapore) — the database holding your account, addresses and order history.
  • Vercel (United States) — hosting. Processes requests, including your IP address.
  • Cloudflare R2 — image and video delivery.
  • Resend — order confirmations and, if you asked for them, newsletters.
  • Google Analytics — only if you accept analytics cookies. Not loaded at all otherwise.
  • Courier partners — your name, address and phone number, so they can deliver.

Some of these store data outside India. If you are in the UK or EEA, that is an international transfer, made under the transfer terms in each provider's own agreement. We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.

Cookies

Essential cookies keep you signed in, remember your bag and hold your chosen currency. These cannot be switched off — the shop stops working without them, and they are covered by the exemption for strictly necessary storage.

Analytics and advertising cookies are off until you accept them. Those scripts are not merely told not to track; they are not loaded at all until consent exists. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of every page, and withdrawing is as easy as agreeing was.

How long we keep it

  • Orders and invoices — eight years, as tax law requires. These survive account deletion.
  • Account details — until you ask us to delete them.
  • Abandoned bags — 30 days, then removed.
  • Newsletter subscription — until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or send it to you in a portable form. You can withdraw consent for marketing or analytics at any time without giving a reason, and without it affecting your ability to shop.

Write to rohitrudakiya366@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can escalate to our Grievance Officer — the details are on the Grievance Redressal page — and, if still unresolved, to the Data Protection Board of India or your local supervisory authority.

Children

This shop is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to us and we will remove it.

Security

All traffic is encrypted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in readable form. Card details never touch our servers. Administrative access is restricted to named accounts and every administrative action is checked server-side.
